Latest News

As part of our service at Harris Tate, we produce a range of legal articles that are published in various media, designed to alert our clients to legal developments that may affect them.

Our legal articles are written by lawyers and legal executives and discuss legal aspects relating to industries, businesses and individuals as well as focusing on everyday legal topics of interest.  These articles provide information to help educate our clients on different topics and current events in the law.  They may raise additional questions.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions or to discuss your individual situation in more detail.

Harris Tate and level 4 alert

26 March 2020

After the latest government advice, we advise that all teams at Harris Tate are continuing to operate as business as usual. We remain available to assist our clients with your legal enquires.

We understand that these challenging times may pose legal issues for you or your business. All our staff are working as normal and can be contacted on 07 578 0059 or direct dial numbers.

We are ready to assist on issues including the enforceability of force majeure clauses that may limit your contractual liabilities, the operation of rent abatement mechanisms that may temporarily suspend the regular payments of rent, or your current obligations as an employer to your workforce.

We are also well placed to assist on the structuring of your family affairs in the event of a terminal illness, or assisting in managing relationship stresses in families.
Of course, we have been making necessary adjustments to the way our teams work and operate.

We have implemented our remote working plan, and our offices are closed. All Harris Tate staff will be working from home.

Whilst we will adhere to government guidelines in order to keep everyone safe, our plan is for business to continue remotely with e-mail, telephone and video calls. All our direct dial numbers have been directed to staff mobile numbers.

Be assured that all our teams retain a capacity to work remotely and will be ready to work with you and your business as the COVID-19 situation develops.
