Michelle’s current practice areas are predominantly commercial and property where she assists director Grant Harris with his busy practice. Michelle is also passionate about sports and is developing a sports law practice with a focus on providing advice around governance, management, administration and dispute resolution for sporting organisations, athletes, participants and volunteers and organisers.
Michelle is also a current member of the Law Society’s Property Law Section, a Panel Member of the New Zealand Law Society Property Law Reform panel, a committee member of the Tauranga Property Investors Association and a member of the Australia, New Zealand Sport Law Association (ANZSLA). Prior to being admitted in the High Court of New Zealand, Michelle was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Outside of work, Michelle is kept busy with two children who are very active in their various sports, so most of her spare time is spent at the local surf club, rugby fields, hockey turf, volleyball courts and touch fields.
