Ngā Tohu Toi Art Awards

We were proud to be a sponsor of the inaugural Ngā Tohu Toi (Art Awards) event established by Te Tuhi Mareikura Trust for Ngā Uri Iwi o te Rohe o Tauranga Moana (descendants of iwi of Tauranga Moana) and held on our first Matariki public holiday (Friday 24 June 2022).

Leone Farquhar, Director of our Māori Legal Team, attended the event and presented the award for Te Uta ki Ngā Taiohi o Tauranga Moana (Contribution to Youth) to Te Kahu Rolleston of Ngāi Te Rangi (via his māmā). She was joined at the event with her husband Stu, our Practice Manager Aroha Daniels, and her husband Rawiri.

It was an awesome event celebrating amazing people from right here in Tauranga Moana who are doing some truly amazing mahi out there. We were humbled and privileged to be given the opportunity to support the Trust and look forward to an ongoing relationship with the Trust going forward.
