Employment Law

Are you an Employer or Employee?

Employment Law includes a number of “accepted practices" which, while not defined in legislation, place certain obligations on both Employers and Employees.

Employment relationships can only be successful when both the Employer and Employee understand their respective rights and obligations.

 If you:

  • Want a legal opinion on dismissal processes; or
  • Have a problem in the workplace; or
  • Have been dismissed or made redundant,

we can help you with a way forward.

Mediation is a forum where you are personally involved in the decision making and the outcome. Mediations are also confidential. We can prepare and support you through that process.  If mediation is unsuccessful, we can also represent you in the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court.

We can also assist you with the drafting and implementation of employment agreements.
