Grant HarrisGrant was born in Tauranga. He graduated with LLB and BMS degrees from the University of Waikato in 1999. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand in 1999 and began his career with a leading commercial law firm in Auckland in the same year. Grant moved to England in 2001 where he qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and worked at leading international law firms in the City of London. Grant has broad legal experience in New Zealand and internationally and has extensive international experience acting for arrangers and issuers on a wide range of capital markets transactions, acting for lenders, borrowers and security trustees/agents on a range of secured and non secured finance transactions, including acquisition financing. He was seconded to the global debt capital markets desk of a leading US investment bank for 11 months. Grant joined Harris Tate as a director in July 2009. Grant focuses on:
