David Foster
David was born in St Albans, England. He is married and has two daughters.
After a family move to New Zealand, he completed his schooling at Auckland Grammar and graduated with an LLB from Auckland University.
Before joining Harris Tate, David's legal career was centred in Auckland. David has been a partner/director of Harris Tate since 2003.
David is the Chairman of the Franchise Association of New Zealand and also the Association's co-ordinator for the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions. He is a frequent speaker and author on franchising matters and regularly appears on television. David is an accredited member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society recognising participation in continuing legal education.
David is also a Notary Public.
